Meaning of Prasat

I'm not sure if you aware of the meaning of Prasat which refers to the word "temple". I'm not an historian, but just incidentally found on a website. My idea, the word "Prasat" derived from a Hindu word "Prasad". Prasad refers to that which gives peace from the Lord. Prasad energises, vivifies, invigorates and infuses devotion. It should be taken with great faith. Prasad bestows good health, long life, peace and prosperity on all. All these Prasads are given on all important religious functions.
